The role can be done in a hybrid working model with times when you are working from our Sofia-office, ideally you should be living in Sofia.

Your profile:

  • You have completed at least two years of your university education, the discipline is not relevant
  • Very good level of English, some German would be a plus
  • You are not afraid of calling candidates and companies on the phone!
  • PC skills (Office software, internet research, social media, SEO)
  • First knowledge about digital marketing tools and strategies
  • You enjoy working independently
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Self-disciplined and well-structered working style
  • First experience in digital marketing or online research (e.g. through an internship) is a plus, but not compulsory

The job profile

  • Support our recruitment team with your research for both new candidates and client companies, using various digital marketing strategies
  • Pre-Screen applications and evaluate if they are a good match for our positions
  • Answer incoming phone calls and contact prospects and existing clients on the phone
  • Analyse job ads and identify client potential
  • Work with LinkedIn and Facebook to reach out our audience
  • Keep our database and calendar up-to-date
  • Manage small digital marketing campaigns

Backend Developer with Python

For our client, a boutique Bulgarian software company, we are looking for a

Backend Developer with Python (Mid level)

to join one of their specialized teams working on a large-scale platform for a leading US construction company.

You will be responsible for building and maintaining custom backend systems for data pipelines and large-scale web scrapers, applied across multiple domains (Projects, Personnel, Contacts, Opportunities, etc.).

The company has offices in Sofia, Germany, and the USA, and works with clients across both Europe and the United States. They provide full-cycle software development, including AI integrations (Gen AI, ChatGPT, Claude), web/mobile applications, and custom data solutions (API, scraping, data processing). Position description:

  • Design and implement modular ETL tasks through shared base classes for different domains
  • Build and maintain backend services for data processing, scraping workflows, checkpoint validation, fingerprinting, and deduplication logic
  • Create CI pipelines to trigger builds for specific collectors and data sets
  • Develop and optimize collector and transformer jobs for event streams
  • Work with large datasets and optimize performance at scale
  • Collaborate closely with the team and the client on the design and implementation of new functionalities
  • Deliver clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
  • Maintain high code quality via SonarCloud, solid test coverage, and low technical debt
  • Contribute to improvements in architecture and development best practices

Requirements:

  • Solid experience in backend development with Python
  • Good working knowledge with TypeScript benefitial
  • Experience in building data pipelines (ingestion → processing → storage)
  • Understanding of Docker-based development workflows
  • Strong knowledge of relational databases (especially PostgreSQL)
  • Experience with cloud storage providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Operational Project Manager

For our client, the H2Start project in Stara Zagora, we are currently searching for a motivated and experienced

Operational project manager

to support in particular the organisational development and total capacity growth.

H2Start aims to establish a Centre of Excellence (CoE) to drive innovation in renewable hydrogen production. This initiative contributes to the transition towards a lowcarbon, energy-secure economy and is supported by Trakia University (TrU) and BGH2A, in collaboration with Politecnico di Torino (POLITO) and ITAE – CNR. It will provide modern infrastructure to attract and retain top-tier researchers, fostering academic and industry collaboration for cutting-edge innovation and technology transfer and is funded with € 30 Mio. from both EU and national funds.

Requirements for the Candidate:

  • Experience as project manager or deputy in at least 3 projects during last 5 years, at least one with the size of 1M EUR
  • Experience in organisational development
  • Has experience with Bulgarian public procurements for at least 4 years
  • Possibility to work part of the time on-site in Stara Zagora, plus conduct occasionally international business trips – mandatory
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)
  • Higher education in Management or Economics

Preferences:

  • Experience with scientific projects, especially in STEM field
  • Work with international environment (working abroad or work with international partners)
  • Has good knowledge of Horizon 2020 and/or Horizon Europe administration processes
  • Fluency in Bulgarian language

Main responsibilities:

  • Overall coordination and operational management of the Horizon Europe H2Start project as a project manager
  • Ensuring the key goal to build modern, highly sustainable and internationally competitive Hydrogen technologies research and innovation center in Bulgaria
  • Supervision of reaching objectives, KPIs, milestones of the project
  • Direct work with work package leaders and key task leaders as relevant to reach expected results
  • Organization and supervision of project administration, financial, procurement and legal activities
  • Organization and facilitation of project Consortium and operational meetings
  • Work with international partners, boosting their engagement
  • Coordination and oversight of development, compilation and submission of project periodic reports, deliverables, amendments
  • Full engagement in timely setting up and development of the new H2Start Center of Excellence and all the relevant processes needed for its full operations
  • Ensuring smooth implementation of the project and timely engagement of all relevant team members (H2Start center, Trakia University, Bulgarian Hydrogen Association, Polito, CNR)
