Head of Sales

with a strong understanding of the Bulgarian metallurgical industry’s dynamics, trends, and customer needs for their office in Sofia (close to Bulgaria Blvd.).

Responsibilities:

  • Organizing, managing, and supporting the work of the commercial department to ensure smooth operations and alignment with company objectives.
  • Managing, planning, and supervising all daily operative sales activities to achieve and exceed performance targets.
  • Maintaining excellent communication with business partners, fostering trust, and ensuring alignment with mutual goals.
  • Leading efforts to acquire new customers in the domestic markets.
  • Conducting regular visits to existing and potential customers to build and maintain strong, long-term relationships.
  • Monitoring and analyzing customer feedback, market trends, and competitor activities to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
  • Developing, implementing, and continuously refining strategies to increase sales revenue and grow the customer base.
  • Monitoring and achieving annual sales goals, overseeing financial performance, and actively participating in annual business planning and forecasting.
  • Leading negotiations with key accounts and partners, ensuring favorable outcomes for the company.
  • Motivating, mentoring, and leading the sales team to achieve individual and collective targets while fostering a collaborative and high-performing work culture.
  • Reporting directly to the company director with detailed updates on progress, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Staying updated on industry developments, including advancements in the metallurgical field, and ensuring the company remains competitive.

Requirements:

  • University degree in economics or related field; candidates with relevant commercial management experience from other educational backgrounds are also welcome.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience, with a strong focus on sales management, particularly in the metallurgical or manufacturing industry.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage sales teams effectively in achieving ambitious goals.
  • Exceptional sales, communication, and negotiation skills to build relationships and close deals.
  • Excellent organizational and management skills, reliability, and a professional, proactive approach.
  • Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and able to take on higher responsibilities with confidence.
  • Passion for leadership and the ability to inspire and motivate the sales team to excel.
  • Willingness and readiness to work in an international team, including frequent travel to meet customers and partners.
  • Fluency in English, with additional language skills considered an asset.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ERP systems.
  • Valid B-category driving license with a willingness to travel extensively as needed.

Senior Java Software Engineer

The Senior Java Software Engineer role is ideal for an experienced engineering leader ready to drive a transition to a cloud-native, microservices-based architecture on AWS for a K-12 math education platform. This role involves leading the team in adopting modern technologies while ensuring the platform supports versioning, publishing, and deep analytics to enhance student learning.

Guide and mentor a team to build a scalable architecture, promote best practices, and deliver high-quality software in alignment with educational goals.Implement analytics to track student progress and collaborate on math engines for creating, rating, and solving problems, driving adaptive learning features.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the migration to a Java microservices architecture on Kubernetes in AWS, utilizing GraphQL for efficient data handling and Terraform for infrastructure as code.
  • Team Leadership and Mentorship: Oversee the entire SDLC from planning to CI/CD deployment, ensuring test automation and reliability at scale.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product and analytics teams, providing clear updates and aligning engineering with the educational mission.

Requirements:

  • Proven Leadership and Mentorship skills: Experience leading engineering teams with a hands-on, solution-oriented approach.
  • Java and Spring Boot expertise for microservices.
  • AWS and Kubernetes experience; Terraform for infrastructure automation.
  • Proficiency in SQL and ideally Hibernate for data persistence.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsibility for the loading and processing of customer orders from receipt of order to dispatch and the associated communication.
  • First contact for customer, sales and plant with the goal of customer satisfaction with optimal use of resources
  • Assistance with cross-plant escalations or bottlenecks
  • Responsibility for the plant’s planning process, which includes
    • Responsibility for the plant’s entire capacity planning based on sales planning and customer requirements
    • Evaluation of the various planning statuses and demand signals and derivation/creation of the appropriate assembly product mix
  • Responsibility for monitoring the relevant key figures and costs and initiating the resulting measures in the event of deviations (e.g compliance with the target parameters such as stocks, delivery service level (OTIF) and planning accuracy)
  • Technical and disciplinary management of the associated employees, including trainings and performance assessment
  • Participation in logistics projects to optimize customer satisfaction and logistics performance, also across plants
  • Participation in the SCM process design and continuous development in the relevant area, e.g. through the implementation and tracking of Continual Improvement Process (CIP)

Profile:

  • Degree in industrial engineering, business administration with a focus on production management, logistics or a comparable education and training
  • Several years of professional experience in production planning and order processing in the automotive sector or a similar sector
  • Extensive management experience in an international environment
  • Very good MS Office knowledge and user knowledge of a common ERP system, ideally SAP.
  • Good language skills in Bulgarian and English
  • High degree of independence, proactivity and structural thinking and action
  • Motivation to keep up with process changes
  • Moderation and presentation skills

Chief Accountant

to lead their accounting team in Sofia.

Main responsibilities:

  • Supervise a team of qualified accounting professionals and report directly to the management of the company
  • Responsibility for all accounting, finance, controlling and tax issues
  • Monthly, quarter-end and annual accounts according to Bulgarian law and IFRS
  • Maintain good working relations with government and regulatory authorities as well as assist with inspections and audits
  • Create various reports about the company’s activities and for the needs of the Bulgarian management as well as for the German HQ (in English language). This includes budgeting, forecasting, financial controlling, risk management and investment appraisal

Your profile:

  • A very good university degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or similar
  • Several years of experience in Accounting, Finance and/or Risk Management, preferably as Chief Accountant in an international environment
  • A very good knowledge of tax and accounting regulations, IFRS experience is mandatory
  • You demonstrate strong and proven leadership skills, with a particular focus on fostering cooperation and motivation among your team members
  • Proven communication skills on different management levels as well as towards colleagues, auditors and other third parties
  • Sollid knowledge of MS Office and Excel and specialised accounting software, working experience with SAP is an advantage
  • Fluent written and spoken language skills in English and Bulgarian, additional German language skills would be an advantage
