We are looking for a motivated person as part of a long-term outsourcing project to support the German team from Bulgaria as a

Technical Support Expert

on a long-term basis.

Your tasks:

First-Level-Support by phone, mail and via the ticketing system
Diagnose and resolve technical issues (First Level) for hardware and software
Escalate issues to technical department with constructive reporting if necessary
Support in complaint management
Taking care of warranty cases
Respond to questions related to Sales and forward them to the person in charge
Basic consultation services

Your profile:

You enjoy the direct contact with our clients
Positive and helpful attitude
Experienced with telephone support (mandatory)
Very interested in technical aspects of hardware and software aspects of machines
A technical degree or education will be considered as a plus
Fluent in English language (written and spoken), German language skills would be a plus
Readiness for occasional trips to Germany for product training

for their office in the center of the city.

Your tasks:

Engineer and maintain an end-to-end multimedia platform’s infrastructure and delivery for multiple end-clients’ consumption
Make improvements to enhance the current system and deliver reliable and flexible solutions
Manage deployment automation and development environments for the companies’ services and applications
Provide 3rd level of technical support for various projects
An understanding of end-to-end video transcoding and delivery

Your profile:

At least 5 years in Software Development / System Administration / Devops
Linux server installation, deployment, administration, and troubleshooting – mandatory
Bash scripting – mandatory
Networking (L2, L3, VLAN, VXLAN, multicast) – mandatory
Experience with some of the following technologies:
- Kubernetes
- BGP (FRRouting, BIRD)
- DB (MariaDB, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- NGINX w/ php-fpm
- Bind (named)
- Video transcoding and streaming
- Automation (ansible)
- Monitoring (nagios, observium, zabbix)
Any additional programming language (e.g. Python, PHP, Perl) would be a great plus!

You should have the availability to work on a long-term basis.

Your tasks:

You will perform development, maintenance and bug-fixing in various projects
You work in virtual teams with your colleagues in Bulgaria and Germany
Communication in German and – to some extend – English

Your profile:

University degree or comparable training in computer science or similar
At least 2 years of matching professional experience with .NET full-stack development
Sound understanding of Git would be great
Experience with pull requests and code reviews
Good understanding of the software development life cycle
Some Java skills are a great benefit
